How AI Agents Send Money: Payout Rails and Corridors
AgentWallet lets agents send payouts across many rails, always within the set the owner approved, with fields and corridors discovered per country and currency.
AgentWallet can send money across many payout rails, including bank and local transfer, PayPal, card push, and crypto. Each rail has its own required fields and supported corridors, discovered dynamically per country and currency. An agent can only ever send on a rail the account owner has approved.
Rails are a subset of what the owner approved
The rails available to an agent are always a subset of the account's approved set. An agent can never introduce a new rail or send on one the owner did not enable. Advertising, recording, and sending all operate over that same approved set, so what an agent can see equals what it can do.
Fields and corridors are discovered, not hard-coded
Different rails and destinations need different information. Rather than assume, AgentWallet discovers the required fields and supported corridors per country and currency at the moment of the payout. An agent asks what a given destination needs and fills exactly that.
- Bank and local transfer — routed by country-specific fields and clearing systems.
- PayPal — sent to a recipient email.
- Card push — pushed to an eligible card.
- Crypto — sent on supported networks.
Cross-currency payouts
When a payout crosses currencies, foreign-exchange conversion is applied just before the payout is sent. Deferring conversion to the last moment keeps the amount that leaves the wallet and the amount that arrives clearly related to the rate at send time.
